"When it comes to residential, what matters most is the budget, the timeline and the communication - and making sure the client is looked after every step of the way. We've built some amazing relationships over the years, and that's what it's really about."

Renovations and extensions are some of the most involved work a builder takes on. You're working within an existing house - its quirks, its age, the way it was originally put together - and getting it right takes experience reading what's actually there before any work starts.
Our team has deep experience in this kind of work, including villa restoration, where you preserve the character of an older home and bring everything behind the walls up to standard. We scope a renovation thoroughly before we start, so the surprises that come with older homes are accounted for, not discovered halfway through.
Restoring character homes while modernising what sits behind them. Structure, services and finish brought up to standard - preserving the character of an older home while making it right for how you live today.
Adding bedrooms, living spaces and second storeys to existing homes. Designed around how you live, built to the same standard as the rest of your home.
The rooms that get used hardest, rebuilt properly. Finished to a high standard with tradespeople who know what they're doing.
Opening up how a home works day to day. Living-space upgrades that make the most of your site and the Auckland climate.
Taking a tired house back to its framing and rebuilding it the way it should be. The full scope, properly managed from first assessment to final sign-off.
Why experience matters.
"The commencement of any project is always critical. At the start of every job, we run a thorough kickoff meeting - roles, responsibilities, communication channels - and set up scheduled fortnightly meetings with the client. That way, you don't get to the middle of the job and have something unforeseen crop up."
A renovation lives or dies on what you find once you open up the walls. The homes we work on are often decades old, and what's behind the linings rarely matches the plans. Experience is knowing how to plan for that, costing realistically, sequencing the work to keep the house liveable where we can, and flagging issues as they come up.

New build questions

Most standalone homes take around 9 to 12 months on site, depending on size, design complexity and the site itself. Architectural and sloping-site builds can take longer. We give you a realistic programme before work starts, so you know what to plan around.
-
Yes. We regularly build to architects’ and designers’ plans, and we’ll work alongside your design team through the build. If you don’t have plans yet, we can point you toward designers and architects we work with.
-
It depends on size, specification and site, so anyone quoting a firm figure sight unseen isn’t being straight with you. We cost your build properly once we’ve seen the plans and the site, and set it out clearly before you commit.
-
Yes. Our office team manages the consent process with council, along with the scheduling and coordination that keeps the build on programme.
-
